With VR as the interface, we want to create an experience that people can’t get in the real world. Considering the crowd activation aspect, we needed a compact story that could be finished in minutes, allowing people to take turns playing. We also wanted players to have strong reactions to attract viewers. Combining all those factors, we came up with an escape room puzzle in an abandoned mental asylum setting.
