Agate Supports Global Game Jam 2025 in 12 Cities Across Indonesia

Bandung, 17 January 2025 – In collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI), Agate International (“Agate”), Indonesia’s largest game development company, through its Agate Academy, proudly supports the Global Game Jam (GGJ) 2025 in 12 cities across Indonesia. This initiative is part of Agate’s commitment to nurturing local game development talent. The event will run for three days, from January 24 to 26, 2025*.

GGJ is an annual global event that brings together game developers from diverse backgrounds to create games within a limited time of 48 hours. According to Global Game Jam data, over 439,047+ participants (“Jammers”) have created 89,146+ games across 132 countries to date. This year, Indonesia is once again an active participant contributing to the creative innovation of the global game industry.

Registration for Global Game Jam 2025 Indonesia is open until January 23, 2025.* Interested participants can register through the official Global Game Jam platform or the registration links provided by each host city. With a spirit of collaboration and creativity, the event invites beginners, students, and professionals alike to join and help build a stronger game development community.

This four-year-long collaboration aims to continue providing an inspiring space for local game developers to learn, network, and create impactful creative works.
