Lead 3D Artist
Responsibilities Lead the 3D art team, ensuring that we deliver high-quality assets that meet the stakeholder’s requirements and the studio’s standards. Collaborate with other project leadership to define project’s scope and goals, workflows inside the team, as well as the resources required to deliver it. Work on and share 3D modeling, texturing, and set-dressing workload with 3D art team and monitor their progress to ensure work is of a high standard and that deadlines are met. Ensuring that output of 3D meet art direction & technical specifications. Providing feedback and guidance to 3D artists to improve the quality of their work and develop their skills. Identifying potential issues and risks early in the project lifecycle and taking steps to mitigate them. Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders, contributing on providing regular updates on progress and addressing any technical concerns or questions they may have. Keeping up-to-date with new techniques and technologies in the 3D industry and actively share this knowledge with the team. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in game development industry as a Senior, Lead or higher grade artist role in game industry. Excellent leadership skills and ability to provide clear direction, guidance and feedback to team members. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D stylized game ready art. Strong technical art basics, flawlessly interact with game engines such a Unreal Engine. Expert knowledge & practical experience of Zbrush, Blender and Substance Painter. Deep understanding of 3D asset optimization techniques and best practices for game developments. Passion for games and the drive to stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations. Pluses Experience with procedural content creation tools, such as Blender Geometry Node, Houdini, Substance Designer. An active interest in the game development community, including attending events and participating in forums or online communities. Technical Artist Intern
Responsibilities Support the art team in implementing and optimizing assets in the game engine. Assist in creating or improving tools that speed up art production workflows. Help troubleshoot technical issues between art and programming. Document processes and tools for team reference. Learn and adapt to the studio’s art pipeline and standards. Requirements Basic understanding of Unreal Engine. Familiarity with 3D Asset workflows (modeling, texturing, importing). Scripting or programming language knowledge (Python, C#, C++, Blueprint, etc.). Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn. Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work in a team. Willing to work in a hybrid environment in Bandung (3 days WFO, 2 days WFH). Pluses Experience with custom tool creation (custom editor, shaders, or automation). Understanding of optimization techniques for games (polycount, textures, draw calls). Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN). Interest in the advancement of CG.
