Responsibilities
- Create game-ready 3D animations for characters, environments/props, and VFX.
- Create game-ready rigs for 3D models.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to produce in-game cinematic.
- Integrate and set up game animation data in the game engine.
- Collaborate with fellow artists, team leads, tech, and design teams to produce believable characters and creatures.
Requirements
- First-hand knowledge and practical experience with 3D software suites (Blender, Maya, 3DSmax, etc.) are required. You need to adapt to Blender for the production pipeline in Agate.
- Able to set rigs to static 3D models.
- Able to produce believable stylized animation.
- Able to create and work with shape keys for facial animations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Minimum of three years working as an animator in the video games/movies/animation industry.
Pluses
- Complete understanding of game workflows and pipelines.
- Experience and interest in creating 2D and VFX animation.
- Experience in working with motion capture data.
