Strategic Business Development Manager

Description:
The main duty of a Strategic Business Development Manager is building relationship with key people from potential companies and establishing strategic partnership that can support Agate’s growth while accommodating the needs of relevant internal team. You are expected to have great communication skill as you will be the forefront representative of Agate to many high profile national and international companies and also cooperating with many internal teams inside Agate.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationship with key people from companies that relevant with Agate’s strategic direction, including but not limited to game companies, IP companies and technology companies both inside and outside of Indonesia
  • Actively explore partnership opportunity with relevant companies and share the opportunity with relevant team inside Agate
  • Establish strategic partnership between Agate and relevant companies, including but not limited to cooperating with relevant team inside Agate, negotiating deal term, preparing paperwork necessary, and closing the deal
  • Participate in relevant events as exhibitor or non-exhibitor both inside and outside of Indonesia to represent Agate and to meet new people that could be potential partners for Agate
  • Keep up to date of recent trend in local and global game, entertainment, technology industry and business in general
  • Create meeting notes and event participation report in timely manner

Administrative Requirements:

  • Able to work full time at Agate Jakarta office
  • Available to travel occasionally to Agate HQ in Bandung, Indonesia
  • Available to travel periodically to both domestic and international destinations
  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree of either business studies, communication sciences, international relations, management or equivalent

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skill in English and Mandarin, both oral and written
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal capability
  • Demonstrate high drive and willingness to learn
  • Demonstrate good critical thinking and problem solving skill
  • Demonstrate good structural thinking capability
  • Passionate in game, entertainment, technology and business in general
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in related area, e.g. business development, sales, marketing
  • Able to work independently, responsibly and self-organized with minimum supervision
  • Good understanding of game industry is a plus
